The Gift of History

Members of Unit 11 of the Korean Veterans' Association of Canada presented the Clarington Public Library with two copies of "The Korean Veteran Association of Canada Memorial Book, 1950-1956". From left are Bill Shearer (past-president), Bert Picotte (past-president), Janet Vanderveen (information services technician for the library), Margie Singleton (coordinator of public services and deputy director of the library), and Fred Anderson (president of Unit 11 of the Korea Veterans Association). One book will be placed in the collection at the Courtice branch, the other will be at the Bowmanville branch.
